BISMARCK, N.D. – March 15, 2010 – Investment Centers of America, Inc. (ICA) recognized the efforts of Brad Connors and more than 100 of his fellow representatives at the company’s national educational conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The annual event, held from March 3 – 7, provided an opportunity for attendees to share strategies for developing effective solutions to help clients reach their financial goals.

“Our representatives’ success comes from their dedication to doing what is best for their clients’ individual needs,” said Greg Gunderson, president and chief executive officer of ICA. “Brad has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to putting the needs of his clients first and has committed a generous amount of time and effort to each relationship. He exemplifies the philosophy and values that are the foundation of ICA.”

The conference, entitled, “Retirement Redesigned,” was tailored to give attendees the tools they need to identify the emerging needs of investors, and to help them understand the “new normal” they face in retirement planning. Reps were also challenged to take a proactive approach to reassessing client accounts and making recommendations based on the unique needs and goals of each individual.

“The primary focus for ICA’s representatives in 2010 is helping investors analyze and reshape their financial goals in the wake of the financial crisis,” said Gunderson. “Our annual conference helps attendees gain a better understanding of consumers’ emerging needs, while providing the comprehensive guidance they need to rebuild and secure their financial future.”

The event featured workshops and educational sessions designed to help the company’s representatives better understand investor emotions, asset movement trends and product innovations. Several of ICA’s top representatives were also invited to share the secrets of their success at interactive, “Ask the Stars,” forums.
