Brad Connors Offers Advice for Financial Advisers at Investment Centers of America’s Regional Meeting
WASECA, Minn. – July 13, 2009 – Brad Connors, Certified Wealth Strategist®, was the featured guest speaker at Investment Centers of America’s (ICA) regional meeting in Deadwood, S.D. on June 11-12. Mr. Connors, a registered representative of ICA and owner of iWealth based in Waseca, delivered a presentation entitled “Running a Successful Practice – Concepts to Succeed,” which outlined strategies to help financial advisers improve productivity in order to better serve their clients.
Mr. Connors also teamed up with another adviser for a presentation on how advisers can effectively integrate technology in their practices. The event in Deadwood was attended by 35 affiliated ICA representatives and members of ICA’s management team.
“I am a firm believer in sharing best practices among my peers and taking a collaborative approach to finding the best strategies for meeting clients’ needs,” said Mr. Connors. “In today’s challenging environment, financial professionals need to support their fellow advisers and maintain an ongoing dialogue about relevant trends in the industry. By exchanging ideas and helping each other build stronger practices, advisers will be in a better position to provide the level of service their clients deserve.”
Mr. Connors joined ICA in 1998 and established his practice at First National Bank. Today, he covers two branches and provides investment services for many households in the Waseca area. With more than 15 years of experience advising individuals, corporations and institutional investors, Mr. Connors offers a full range of financial planning services, including asset management and retirement planning.
Mr. Connors was named one of the top 50 bank advisors in the country in 2007 by Bank Investment Consultant magazine, and was selected as a “Top Ten Young Minnesotans” in 2006.
